HYDERABAD: Woman seeks protection

HYDERABAD, Nov 5: A married Hindu woman sought protection from her husband whom she accused of torturing her. Ms Shrimati Sodhi told journalists in Tando Mohammad Khan that her husband, Sodheer and his accomplices were after her and her life was in grave danger. She said that she had taken refuge with her parents as her husband was a cruel man who would subject her to torture.

DATE EXTENDED: The Sindh Agriculture University of Tandojam extended to Nov 10 the last date for depositing admission forms in the university and Z.A Bhutto Agriculture College Dokri for 2007-08 session.

A spokesman for the university announced that entry test for administration in the university would be held on Dec 2 at different district headquarters of the college.

Test for admission to the Z.A. Bhutto College of Dokri would be held on Nov 18. Regular classes in both the institutions would commence from Jan 1, 2008.—BoC
