Three houses, a mosque and some shops were damaged.

Sources told Dawn that security forces also pounded Imam Dehri, the native village of militant cleric Maulana Fazlullah, and positions of his men in Koza Banda and Bara Banda areas.

Gunship helicopters continued flying over different areas in the valley.

The militants have been holding their positions on hills.

They also continued patrolling their strongholds in Matta, Khwazakhela and Chargabdh.
