SHIKARPUR, Nov 2: An alleged bandit was killed while a head constable received injuries in an encounter near Dost Wah on Shikarpur-Jacobabad road in the jurisdiction of Sultankot police station here on Friday night.
The encounter took place when a group of 10 armed bandits tried to stop a police mobile going from Shikarpur to Humayun.
The police party comprised the SHO of Humayun police station, Azim Kolachi, and three constables.
The injured head constable, Liaqat Ali Mangnejo, was shifted to the Civil Hospital.
