MIRPURKHAS, Oct 31: Speaker Sindh Assembly Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah has said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, four mega projects of over Rs5 billion, including the Mirpurkhas Medical College, have been launched in the area. He was speaking as chief guest at the ground-breaking ceremony of the Mirpurkhas Medical College on Wednesday.

Zila Naib Nazim Mirpurkhas Zafar Ahmed Kamali, Zila Nazim Umerkot Faqeer Manghan Mangrio, Zila Nazim Tharparkar Arbab Anwar, MPA Poonjomal Bheel, Adviser to the CM Sindh, Dr Dost Mohammad Memon, District President PML-Q Khair Mohammad Bhurgari, Secretary Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, and notables were present.

The Speaker hoped the coalition partners will win the next general elections and form government. He said medical college for Mirpurkhas was an old demand and after its completion poor youths of this region, including of Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Sanghar and Tando Allahyar districts will avail medical education and employment.

Arbab Anwar said doctors were not attending their duties in Tharparkar but running private clinics.
