LARKANA, Oct 30: A large number of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) activists held a long march against deteriorating law and order situation in Qambar-Shahdadkot district on Tuesday.

Central Vice Chairman of the JSQM Dr Niaz Kalani, Abdullah Soomro, Athar Soomro and others led the march which began from the Qambar Town.

Participants carrying flags, banners and placards covered a distance of 10km from the Qambar Town to Seraiwah. They chanted slogans against the lukewarm attitude of Qambar Police and staged a sit-in at Seraiwah, blocked the Larkana-Qambar Road which interrupted vehicular traffic for more than an hour.

They said motorcycle and house robberies had become order of the day in Qambar and no road was safe.

They announced observing complete shutter down strike in Qambar Town on November 4.

Protestors said the campaign will continue and later cleared the road.
