Naveen reaches quarter-finals

MACAU, Oct 28: Pakistan’s Naveen Pervani showing sterling performance roared into the quarter-finals of the Asian Indoor Games with superb 4-0 win over Qatar’s Al Obaidli Ali at the Macau International Convention Centre on Sunday.

Obaidli caused some trouble in the first frame for Naveen but later succumbed under pressure as the latter was far ahead in technique and anticipation.

Naveen will be facing China’s Xiao Guoddong in the quarter-final.—APP
