Former CM, PML-Q leader join PPP

QUETTA, Oct 27: Balochistan former chief minister Mir Taj Mohammad Jamali and a local PML-Q leader Mir Sanjar Khan Jamali joined the Pakistan People’s Party on Saturday.

Addressing a press conference, they reposed confidence in the leadership of Benazir Bhutto.

PPP Balochistan general secretary Bismiullah Khan Kakar was present on the occasion.

Mr Kakar said that presence of Taj Jamali and Sanjar Jamali would strengthen the party in the districts of Jaffarabad and Nasirabad.

Mr Kakar rejected the impression that PPP had compromised in principles for the National Reconciliation Ordinance. He said that PPP believed in dialogue to resolve issues. Negotiation with the government was part of the party’s policy, he added.
