As soon as the procession will start from Nishtar Park, all vehicular traffic coming from city side will be diverted to Soldier Bazaar road from the junction of M.A. Jinnah Road/Dr Dawoodpota Road.

All traffic on Soldier Bazaar road, from its junction with Dr Dawoodpota Road up to its junction with Khan Bahadur Naqi Mohammad Khan Road, shall flow one way.

All buses, minibuses, trucks etc., coming from Nazimabad side will be diverted to Nishtar Road towards the zoological garden.

All buses, minibuses and trucks etc., coming from Liaquatabad side, will be diverted to Martin Road towards Jail side. These vehicles shall, however, be permitted to proceed upto the Jail and shall then proceed via Jamshed Road, Dadabhoy Noorji Road, Kashmir Road, Shahrah-i-Quaideen, Sharea Faisal up to Gora Qabristan and then via Mubarak Shaheed Road, Iqbal Shaheed Road, Lucky Star, Sarwar Shaheed Road, Dr Dawoodpota Road, Preedy Street to their normal routes. When the head of the procession reaches at the junction of M.A. Jinnah Road/Mansfield Street, these vehicles shall proceed straight for 602 EME Workshop, Mubarak Shaheed Road, Iqbal Shaheed Road, Lucky Star, Sarwar Shaheed Road, Fatima Jinnah Road, Maulana Wafai Road (old Stratchen Road), Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road, M.A. Jinnah Road till the situation permits when these vehicles shall be diverted to I.I. Chundrigar Road from the junction of Court Road/M.R. Kiyani Road.

Similarly, all buses, minibuses, approaching the city from Stadium Road side, shall proceed via New M.A. Jinnah Road. These vehicles shall be diverted at Dadabhoy Noorji Road towards Kashmir Road from its junction with New M.A. Jinnah Road/link road behind the Mazar-i- Quaid-i-Azam.

All trucks, buses, minibuses, approaching from Super Highway side, shall be diverted from Al-Azam Square towards Chowrangi NO.2, Nazimabad, and shall proceed along the Estate Avenue Road, Shershah, to Mauripur Road.

The same route will be used for return journey.

All buses, minibuses and trucks, approaching from the National Highway side, shall proceed via Rashid Minhas Road, Stadium Road, Sir Shah Mohammad Suleman Road, Hassan Square, Liaquatabad No.10, Nazimabad Chowrangi No.2, Habib Bank, Manghopir Road, Estate Avenue Road, Sher Shah, Mauripur Road.

For return journey, the same route will be used.

All car traffic shall not be permitted to proceed towards the route of the procession from Guru Mandir roundabout. These vehicles shall be diverted onto Bahadur Yar Jang Road and again to Khan Bahadur Naqi Mohammad Khan Road. These vehicles shall not be permitted to proceed along the Soldier Bazaar Road from the junction of Khan Bahadur Naqi Mohammad Khan Road/ Bahadur Yar Jang Road.

All car traffic coming from Quaid-i-Azam Mazar side along M.A. Jinnah Road will be diverted towards Bahadur Yar Jang Road. No vehicular traffic will be permitted to proceed towards old Exhibition.

All vehicular traffic, approaching old Exhibition via Shahrah-i-Quaideen (except those coming to participate in the procession having stickers issued by the traffic police pasted on their windscreens) shall not be allowed to proceed from the roundabout of Shahra-i-Quaideen/link road behind the Mazar. No bus/minibus/truck will be permitted to proceed beyond this roundabout towards the old Exhibition.

All traffic going towards Saddar and other colonies will not be permitted to proceed towards Empress Market from the junction of Preedy Street/ Sarmad Road, Preedy Street/ M.A.Jinnah Road, Shahrah-i-Liaquat/Court Road and Shahrah-i-Liaquat/ Mohammad bin Qasim Road when the head of the procession reaches near the crossing of M.A. Jinnah Road/Mansfield Street.

Similarly, all vehicular traffic, proceeding towards Saddar via M.A. Jinnah Road side, shall not be permitted to proceed from its junction with Preedy Street and the Aga Khan Road.

All traffic coming from Keamari side will terminate at Ghass Bunder Railway Quarters and as soon as the head of the procession (Sunni procession) reaches at the junction of M.A. Jinnah Road/Dunnolly Road, these vehicles shall ply in shuttle service between Keamari to Railway Quarters, Ghass Bunder Road and M.A. Jinnah Road.

All buses coming from West Wharf and Maripur Road sides will terminate at the junction of Aga Khan Road/Eduljee Dinshaw Road. The traffic from West Wharf and Maripur Road sides will, however, be permitted to proceed via the Aga Khan Road/G Allan Road.

All traffic coming from and bound to Keamari and Maripur Road from the side of Maulvi Tamizuddin Khan Road will travel via Jinnah bridge till the time the head of the procession reaches at the junction of M.A. Jinnah Road/Dunnolly Road and thereafter all traffic will be suspended from the junction of M.T. Khan Road/Jinnah bridge.

On the night of 9th Muharram, Tazia processions will be taken out throughout the city. The following traffic arrangements will be made:

All buses approaching Saddar from Jamshed Road side will proceed straight onto M.A. Jinnah Road and will not be permitted to come on the Mansfield Street after 10pm. Similarly, buses coming from city side on Shahrah-i-Liaquat, bound for the Colonies via Empress Market, will be diverted to Mohammad bin Qasim Road/M.A. Jinnah Road. The buses bound for Malir and Sharea Faisal will be diverted to Court Road, Maulvi Wafai Road (old Stratchen Road), Abdullah Haroon Road, M.W. Road, to Sharea Faisal. All buses coming from Korangi side towards Saddar will be diverted back from the junction of Mansfield Street/Rafique Shaheed Road/Sarwar Shaheed Road (Lucky Star). Areas bound by Preedy Street, M.A. Jinnah Road, Mansfield Street, and Shahra-i- Iraq will be closed to all vehicles by 8pm or earlier if needed. The residents of the area will, however, be permitted to reach their residences.

All buses bound for M.W. Tower from Lea Market will move through Aga Khan Road, Daulumal Chela Ram Road, Mir Mohammad Baloch Road, and Shidi Village Road.

The stretch of the road between the junction of Nawab Mohabbat Khanji Road, Shidi Village Road, Aga Khan Road/Dalumel Cheata Ram Road will be out-of-bound to all public conveyance — trucks, buses, minibuses, motorcycles, and rickshaw etc.—APP
