New fund launched

LAHORE, Oct 22: The Bank of Punjab (BoP) and the Pak Oman Asset Management Company (POAMC) jointly launched an open-end mutual fund — POBOP Advantage Plus Fund — on Monday.

The new fund is formed under the Non-Banking Finance Companies Rules 2003 and with the objective of offering investors a fixed income.The launch was announced at a press briefing by BoP President Hamesh Khan and POAMC chief executive officer Hina Ghazanfar.This fund will provide investors an alternate to other debt instruments like corporate bonds, bank deposit, etc.
