LAKKI MARWAT, Oct 21: Armed militants wearing police uniform kidnapped a man from the Kot Kashmir village on Sunday morning.
Residents said that at least 12 armed men in police uniform went to the house of Matiullah. They overpowered him and whisked him away.
The Tajori police station registered a case and started investigation.
The residents said the growing incidents of kidnapping for ransom in Lakki Marwat had created a sense of insecurity among people. They said that district’s rural areas had become a safe haven for criminals and kidnappers.
