KARACHI, Oct 19: The scratching of horses for the Gymkhana race meeting which was scheduled to take place at Karachi Racecourse on Friday has been deferred for a day, a spokesman for the KRC told Dawn.

“It will now take place on Saturday provided situation of the city stays normal,” he said.

The KRC had earlier announced to hold the Gymkhana race meeting on Sunday (Oct 21).

To a question, the official said the races may be postponed until Wednesday if the prevailing law and order situation did not permit the scratching on Saturday.
