Nation saddened: Pervaiz

LAHORE, Oct 19: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has condemned the bomb blasts perpetrated by terrorists in Karachi on Thursday night and expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of around 130 lives.

In a message issued here on Friday, the chief minister said the whole nation was saddened by the carnage. He said those responsible for this heinous act were sincere neither with Islam, nor the country nor humanity.

Meanwhile, provincial ministers have also condemned the heinous act and expressed grief over the loss of lives.

In a joint condolence message, Auqaf Minister Syed Saeedul Hasan Shah and Human Rights Minister Makhdoom Ashfaq Ahmad said the elements involved in the incident were the enemy of democracy and the country.

They also offered Fateha for the departed souls. They also prayed for early recovery of the injured. —APP
