Three die in water clash

KHAIRPUR, Oct 19: Three people died in a clash between two armed groups of Soomro and Jatoi clans over dispute of irrigation water near Rohri on Friday. According to reports, two armed groups brawled near the village over the construction of watercourse near village Bharo of taluka Rohri district Sukkur.

Both groups used weapons, freely, resulting in death of three people identified as Chanesar Soomro, Shahul Shar and Zahoor Jatoi.

The bodies of the deceased were brought to Rohri Hospital for post-mortem and later handed to their relatives. Police registered a case of murder and started investigating.

ADMISSION: The principal Paramedical and Health Care Technician School, Sukkur, on Friday announced that the date of admissions to the courses of Health Technicians, Operation Theatre Technicians, ECG Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, X-Ray Technicians and Ultra Sound Technicians has been extended for 10 days.—Agencies
