KARACHI, Oct 21: Two useful partnerships helped Wapda make a respectable 281 for seven in their first innings on the first day of their Patron’s Trophy Grade-I fixture against PIA at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad Sunday.

Shoaib Khan led the way with an undefeated 53 off 180 deliveries after PIA captain Moin Khan elected to field first, says a message here.

Shoaib helped Rizwan Malik, who made 82 off 146 balls, put on 81 for the fifth wicket and then put on 78 for the seventh wicket in 98 minutes with Kashif Raza (42 off 73 balls).
