UPPER DIR, Oct 19: A South Korean construction company Sambu has announced compensation for the heirs of four workers who died in a road accident at Nehargah in Upper Dir, while going to work at the Lowari Tunnel project.
The four workers had died and another injured critically when their jeep plunged into River Lowari at Nehargah earlier this week.
The company’s general manager visited the homes of the victims and gave cheques of Rs100,000 to heirs of each of them. He said the company would bear the treatment expenses of the injured worker and continue paying his salary till his recovery.—Correspondent
