KARACHI: NED exam schedule cancelled

KARACHI, Oct 19: The NED University of Engineering and Technology on Friday cancelled all the examinations scheduled to be held on Oct 20. New dates will be announced later.

Meanwhile, the NED University has extended the date for the submission of forms for admission to undergraduate programmes 2007-08 up to Oct 20. The university has asked all the candidates appearing in the entry test batch 2007-08 to be held on Oct 21 to report to the campus by 9:30am.

Candidates would be frisked at the university’s main gate. The university administration has instructed candidates to bring only pencil, eraser and scientific calculators (non-programmable).

KU classes

Academic activities at the University of Karachi will resume from Monday.

This was stated by a KU spokesman on Friday.

He further pointed out that no classes would be held at the campus on Saturday.—PPI/APP
