Pagara urges Hurs to educate children

KHAIRPUR, Oct 18: Spiritual leader of the Hurs, Shah Mardan Shah Pir Pagaro has stressed upon the Hur community to provide education to their children without wasting time.

Speaking at a gathering of Hur community on second day of Eid at Dargah Sharif Pir Jo Goth, he said that the condition of the country is very sensitive and Hurs should not have any connection with those who stage demonstrations.

Pir Pagaro while referring present crisis said that it was not a matter of two or three months but the time in between the two Eids is a difficult period.

He said that the Hurs should remember that in past they had experienced difficult times and they should also recall the times when they were lodged inside walls.

Protest rally: Scores of youngsters of Ghumro community took out a protest rally against the district naib nazim Sukkur and their community wadera of Bagirji, here on Wednesday.

The rally marched on different roads of Khairpur and staged a demonstration outside the press club.

They alleged that the accused had tortured and manhandled them in Bagirji on second day of Eid and also damaged some of their valuable household items.

The protesters led by Mehmood Ali and Faqir Shahid Ghumro were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the district naib nazim and an influential wadera of their community.

They told reporters that both the accused were influential and belong to a ruling party.

They appealed the Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan and Human Rights Commission of Pakistan to take notice of the issue and demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter.
