FAISALABAD, Oct 17: A passerby was killed while two constables were injured when unidentified criminals opened fire on them in Islamnagar here on Wednesday.

Reports said constables Sarwar and Hamid Mukhtar, stopped two motorcyclists for snap checking, but they fired at them and fled. Resultantly, passerby Irshad, riding in a car, received bullet injuries and died on way to hospital while constables also sustained bullet wounds. They were admitted to hospital. —Correspondent
