KARACHII, Oct 17: Six ships carrying DAP fertiliser, containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at wharves during the Eid holidays was maintained on the higher side as two dozen ships were berthed and departed.

Total tonnage handled during the holidays was 0.410m tons comprising 60,654 tons of export cargo including g 15,692 tons of cement and 0.349m tons of import tonnage, which also included 0.158m tons of liquid cargo.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Fair Spirit with crude oil, Kota Ganteng, CMS CAM Parana, Iran Tabatabaei with containers and Nan Chang Hai with 27,000 tons of DAP fertiliser.
