Irfan, Aaley net in school hockey

LAHORE, Oct 21: Divisional Public School, Model Town, chalked up a 2-0 victory over Government High School 134 9/L, Sahiwal, in the 35th Jafar memorial inter-school hockey tournament Sunday.

Divisional Public School, Model Town, despite having the services of seven players from the Pakistan Hockey Federation academy, faced resistance from their rivals.

Irfan opened the scoring in the 13th minute, while Aaley Haider doubled the lead the next minute.

Federal Government High School No 1 routed Government High School No 13 8-0.

Wasif Ali (13th, 49th minutes), Adil Khan (2nd and 46th minute), Zeeshan Javed (6th and 23rd minute), Raheel Khan (16th minute) and Mohammad Omar (34th minute) were the scorers.

Government High School, Shakargarh, got a walkover against Government High School No.2, Kamoke.
