Swann ruled out of final ODI

LONDON, Oct 12: England off-spinner Graeme Swann will miss the final One-day International against Sri Lanka because of a torn hamstring.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said the Nottinghamshire player would be sidelined for around two weeks but should be available for selection for the Test series which starts on Dec 1.

Swann has been a revelation in England’s first one-day series victory in Sri Lanka, taking seven wickets in the four matches so far at an average of 22.28.—Reuters
