KARACHI, Oct 11: A spokesman for Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim on Thursday clarified a statement attributed to him and published in a Sindhi daily on October 3 regarding the Sindh High Court.

The spokesman said that in reply to a question by a reporter of the newspaper about display of anti-court banners at a press conference on Oct 2, the chief minister had replied that the question should be put to those who were responsible for displaying those banners.

“We have no link whatsoever with those banners,” Dr Arbab had said, according to the spokesman. But, he said, the reporter presented the statement in a distorted manner. —APP
