PESHAWAR, Oct 7: NWFP police chief Mohammad Sharif Virk has transferred six officials to new posts.

According to a notification issued on Saturday, the Superintendent of Police (Investigation) at the Central Police Office, Mohammad Yameen Khan, has been transferred to Mardan as the District Police Officer. He will replace Akhter Hayat Gandapur who has been posted in his place as SP (Investigation) in the CPO.

NWFP Forensic Science Laboratory Director Nisar Mohammad Khan has been posted as the Karak DPO.

Karak DPO Mubarikzeb Khan has been posted as Nowshera DPO, whereas Nowshera DPO Qazi Jamilur Rehman has been posted as SP, Special Branch, in Peshawar.

Special Branch SP Hashim Khan has been transferred and posted as the Forensic Science Laboratory Director.
