FAISALABAD, Oct 2: The Anti-Narcotics Force seized 230kg opium-mixed liquid syrup in two different raids on Tuesday and arrested two persons.
ANF sources said that a team raided Umair medical store on Dijkot road and seized 50kg syrup meant for addiction. Storeowner Mohammad Umar was also arrested who, in preliminary investigation, revealed the whereabouts of the main drug-peddler working in Nighebanpura. Acting on the information given by Umar, the raiding party also arrested Haji Azhar and seized 180kg liquid syrup. — Staff Correspondent
