PS achieves record sales

KARACHI, Oct 2: Pakistan Steel recorded the highest ever sales figure of Rs9.301billion during the third quarter of July-September 2007, which is higher than the budgeted target of Rs9.282 billion.

The PS sales for the first quarter (January-March) was recorded at Rs8.615 billion and in the second quarter (April-June) it rose to Rs8.891 billion, and now for the first time in the history of sales, the figures has surpassed Rs9bn mark, says a press release.

The sales target for the current year has been fixed at Rs36 billion which is already higher by 20 per cent than the all time sales of Rs30 billion recorded during 2006-07.
