Three die on road

LAHORE, Oct 1: Three people were killed in road accidents in the city on Monday. In Green Town, Sughran Bibi, 36, a resident of Shiraz Town Bagrian, was going along with her brother-in-law Khursheed on a motorcycle. Near Lajna Chowk on College Road, Khursheed lost control over the bike, collided with a pedestrian, Tahir, as a result they fell on the ground and sustained injuries. They were rushed to hospital where Sughran died.

In another incident, Khuram, 22, of Shamkay Bhatiyan, and his friend Omar were going on a motorbike. On Manga Road, a car hit his motorcycle as a result Khuram sustained a critical head injury and died on the spot. Omar was stated to be in a critical condition in hospital.

In Kahna police precincts, Shafiq, 25, a resident of Gajjomatta village was knocked down and killed by a speeding vehicle. —Staff Reporter
