KARACHI, Oct 1: A man died after consuming poisonous liquor in Nazimabad area on Monday.

Edhi sources said that the 40-year-old man, identified as Marjan, had consumed poisonous liquor in his house in Nazimabad No 7. He was rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in an Edhi ambulance by his family members when his condition deteriorated. However, he died before reaching the hospital.

Hospital official reserved the autopsy report saying that a final opinion could be given after the receipt of the chemical report. They, however, suggested that the deceased might have consumed some poisonous liquid.
