Nomanullah excels in AKG cricket

KARACHI, Sept 29: Nomanullah produced a sterling show in Tapal Cricket Club’s six-wicket victory over F.B. Area Academy in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament at the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground on Friday.

Nomanullah first claimed two wickets for 20 runs and then scored 39 runs to help Tapal CC gain victory.

Iqbal Sheikh took three wickets for 27 and Noman got two as F.B. Area Academy, batting first, reached 127-6 off the allotted 20 overs with Hasan Sajjad (28) and Talha Pervez (27) being the main scorers. Iqbal Sheikh took 3-27.

Tapal CC, in reply, romped home in 13.4 overs for the loss of four wickets. Saeed Bin Nasir cracked an unbeaten 42 with four boundaries and a six.
