Pakistan, SA practise today

KARACHI, Sept 29: Pakistan and South African cricketers will undergo training and practice session at the National Stadium on Sunday in a build-up for the first Test starting on Monday.

Shoaib Malik’s squad, who were due to assemble here on Saturday evening, would train in the morning session on Sunday. This will be Pakistan team’s first practice session after their nailing-biting loss to India in the Twenty20 World Championship final in Johannesburg.

Whereas the South Africans will practise under the watchful eye of coach Mickey Arthur in the afternoon.

Shoaib Malik with coach Geoff Lawson and South African skipper Graeme Smith with Mickey Arthur will speak to the media in the afternoon.—APP
