U-19 cricket squad announced

LAHORE, Sept 28: Imad Wasim has been retained as Pakistan under-19 captain when the national junior selection committee announced a 14-member squad for the home series against Australia U-19 on Friday.

The Australians will arrive here on Oct 1 and play five one-dayers.

The first two matches will be played at the Sheikhupura Stadium on Oct 4 and 6 while the remaining three will be played at the newly constructed Mirpurkhas Stadium on Oct 9, 10 and 12.

Squad:

Ahmed Shahzad, Umar Amin, Azhar Attari, Usman Salahuddin, Junaid Khan, Ali Asad (wicket-keeper), Shahzaib Ahmed, Ahmed Iqbal, Jibran Khan, Imad Wasim (captain), Rahatullah, Shan Masood, Kamran Hussain, Mohammad Ramiz.

Naeem Akhtar (manager), Mansoor Rana (coach), Riaz (doctor/physio), Sajjad Gill (trainer).
