Three injured in different incidents

TAXILA, Sept 27: Three persons including a woman were injured in twin cities of Taxila, Wah Cantonment and Hassanabdal.

A woman was shot and injured by her former son-in-law in jurisdiction of Hassanabdal Police station. Safia Begum reported to Police that she had dispute over the ownership of house and the case was under trial in a court.

She said that when she was coming to his house in his car (VRG 340) her former son-in-law Kamran accompanied by Imran, Zain Khan and two other accomplices blocked his way and opened fire injuring her. She was rushed to local hospital where her condition is stated to be out of danger.

Sources said that Mehmood and Shafqat exchanged hot words with Aftab over land dispute and later Mehmood bring Kalashnikov and critically injured Aftab and fled away. He was rushed to local hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.

In another incident a man shoot and injured other over some political dispute in Gadwal jurisdiction of Wah Cantonment Police station.—Correspondent
