PESHAWAR, Sept 25: The Provincial Election Commission (PEC) on Tuesday issued four more nomination papers to intending candidates, including some serving government employees, for contesting presidential election scheduled for Oct 6.

Those who obtained nomination papers included Prof Aurangzeb of the Government Degree College, Peshawar; minority candidate Stephen Saleem, Sardar Mohammad Rafique and Civil Engineer Aurangzeb.

The PEC had issued four nomination papers to presidential hopefuls on Monday.

They included Javed Nawaz Gandapur, a retired judge; Abid Hussain Chughtai, an architect from Dera Ismail Khan; Aitbar Khan advocate and Munir Ahmed Shirazi, an employee of the Income Tax Department.
