LAHORE, Sept 24: The Lahore High Court on Monday declared non-maintainable a petition filed against an Election Commission’s notification which said that Article 63 of the Constitution did not apply to the election of the president.

Justice M. Bilal Khan observed that since the matter was before the Supreme Court, the high court could not entertain it.The petitioner, Advocate Mohammad Azhar, had said the matter pending before the apex court pertained to qualification and disqualification of the president.
