LAKKI MARWAT, March 18: Health authorities conducted raids on different unauthorized medical stores in various villages on Monday.

The EDO, Health, Dr Abdur Rashid Khan  Gandapur, inspected dozens of basic health units, Rural Health centres and also conducted raids on Institution-based Practice clinics, private clinics in a number of villages including Serai Naurang, Ghazni Khel, Titter Khel, Behram Khel, Taja Zai and Darra Pezu.

Accompanied by Dr Tariq Khan Marwat, a member of inspection team/raiding committee, the EDO health sealed six unauthorized medical stores. However, the raiding committee did not find any doctor or physician  violating the new health policy  of  practising privately.

The coordinator also raided private practitioners and medical stores in Serai Naurang and booked a number of them.
