BNM president arrested

QUETTA, Sept 20: Baloch National Movement (BNM) president Ghulam Muhammad Baloch, who has been missing for several months, was arrested along with another activist Sher Muhammad Rind on Thursday.

“The Saddar Police arrested Ghulam Muhammad Baloch during checking of a passenger wagon near Sibi,” District Police Officer Shariq Jamali told Dawn.

He said that the BNM chief was wanted in six different cases, including murder and attack on FC personnel in Makran. Police did not give details, saying investigations were under way.
