FAISALABAD, Sept 20: Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company (Fesco) chief executive Ahmed Saeed warned officers of strict action if line staff was found working without safety gadgets.

Addressing a seminar on `safety measures’ here on Thursday, Mr Saeed said the Fesco was bent on rendering quality services to its consumers.

He, however, advised the line staff that utmost safety measures should be made while extending service to consumers and carrying out maintenance work.

Millions of rupees, he said, were being spent on acquiring modern safety kits for the line staff while committees had also been constituted to check the standard of these gadgets.

“Nobody will be allowed to carry out any work without permit and officers will have to face the music in case of any negligence in this regard,” he warned.
