SHEIKHUPURA, Sept 19: Two men deprived as many motorists of their car here on Wednesday at an MPA’s filling station on Lahore Road.

Reports said Irfan and Yasir riding a car came to the petrol pump for filling. In the meantime, two men forcibly boarded the car and asked driver Irfan to proceed towards Gujranwala Road. Near Ramgarh, they threw Yasir out of the vehicle and dropped Irfan near Motorway.

Later, DSP Shoaib Kimboo chased the car and succeeded to stop it near Kala Shah Kakoo. The accused abandoned the vehicle and managed their escape. B.Division police are investigating.

KILLED: A college student, Zahir Abbass, was run over and killed by a speeding van near Guru Nanakpura, Farooqabad, some 14km away from here on Wednesday. Farooqabad police are looking into the matter.
