KARACHI, Sept 19: Video documentaries were formally launched by the department of culture and tourism, Sindh, at the Arts Council auditorium here on Wednesday.

The documentaries highlighted the rich history of Sindh with focus on the archaeological sites of Moenjodaro, Ranikot, etc. Produced by the provincial culture and tourism department, the documentaries are aimed at attracting foreign tourists by highlighting different aspects and significance of these sites.

Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism and Social Welfare Rauf Siddiqui, speaking on the occasion, stressed the need for better preservation and proper maintenance of the sites.
