HYDERABAD, March 17: A joint meeting of the Pakistan Medical Association, Hyderabad chapter, LMC Graduates Association, General Practitioners Council and the contract doctors, held at the PMA House here on Sunday, expressed grief over the killings of doctors and murderous attacks on others.

The meeting offered Fateha for the murdered doctors and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.

The representatives of the organizations of the doctors deplored the apathy of the government to prevent the target killings of doctors.

They demanded of the law enforcing agencies to protect the lives and properties of the doctors.

The meeting also decided to hold seminars for promoting sectarian harmony.

The meeting constituted a sub-committee to coordinate with the PMA at the central and provincial level to find out ways and means to protect doctors.
