KARACHI: Soyem of Pari Begum, mother of former KMC administrator Fahim Zaman Khan, was held on Saturday. It was attended by senior politicians, social workers and people from different walks of life.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Sindh president of the Pakistan People’s Party, and N. D. Khan, former federal minister, were among those who attended the Soyem and condoled with the bereaved family.

Pari Begum, who died on Friday at 82, left behind her husband Sultan Zaman Khan, four sons and three daughters.
