Policemen suspended

LAHORE, Sept 13: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Malik Muhammad Iqbal has suspended three policemen on charges of corruption, negligence and misuse of power and ordered departmental action against them.

The CCPO received separate complaints against sub-inspector Muhammad Javed of Naulakha police, sub-inspector Laeeq Ahmed of Factory Area police and assistant sub-inspector Muhammad Yaqoob of Gujjarpura police and ordered an enquiry against them.

The enquiry found the accused policemen guilty and the CCPO suspended them. — APP
