HARIPUR, Sept 13: Two people were killed and 10 others injured on Thursday when a speeding van collided head-on with a pickup near Panian, about 2km from here.Police said the Haripur-bound pickup was coming from the Sirikot village when it was hit by a van near the Durrani Filling Station.
The injured and the bodies were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital, Haripur. Those killed were identified as Rukhsana Bibi, wife of Javed-ur-Rehman, and Asif, son of Kabil Khan. The injured were identified as Muzakra Jan Bibi, Nazia, Naseem Akhtar, Shaheen Akhtar, Nargas Bibi, Fayaz Shah, Babar Khan, Amjad Iqbal, Waheed Khan and Mustaqeem.
