Pakistani says he was abducted

Published September 14, 2007

ATHENS, Sept 13: A Pakistani man claimed on Thursday that he had been abducted and interrogated by Greek and British agents in July 2005.The allegation would corroborate a claim in a Greek daily by an unnamed former agent that he had taken part in such an operation.

The alleged abductions of 13 Pakistanis on July 15, 2005 — eight days after the London transport bombings that left 52 dead — were said to be aimed at determining possible links between the men and the bombers and extracting information potentially relevant to the war on terror.—AP
