One dies as car overturns

HAZRO, Sept 12: One person was killed and two others were injured when a car overturned at a sharp turn near the Burhan interchange on Wednesday, police said.

Rahmu Masjid prayer leader Maulana Sultan Afzal along with two companions was returning home after visiting the Golra Sharif shrine when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

All the occupants sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital, but Maulana Afzal died before receiving any treatment. Later, he was buried in his ancestral graveyard.—APP
