SI, 3 drug traffickers held

RAHIM YAR KHAN, Sept 9: Police have arrested three drug smugglers and a sub-inspector during an operation against drug traffickers.

Police said it arrested Parveen when she was selling drugs in Zafarabad and seized 1kg charas from her. Sub-Inspector Ghulam Mustafa was also arrested with her.

Separately, police arrested Salahuddin from Nooraywali with 2.5kg heroin and 1kg charas, while his accomplice Maqsoodan Mai fled. Police also arrested Aslam at School Bazaar bridge with 20 litres of moonshine.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Junaid Ahmed said Parveen was connected to an inter-provincial drug smuggling gang. — Correspondent
