SHIKARPUR: Four killed in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR, Sept 9: Four people, including two women, were killed and three sustained injuries in different incidents in the limits of Hamayoon and Garhi Yasin police stations on Sunday.

Armed thieves killed Manzoor Buriro and his mother, Ms Waziran, and injured Abdullah alias Lahooti Buriro when they put up resistance to their attempt to steal away valuables after breaking into their house near Hamayoon Sharif in Azeem Buriro village late into the night.

In the other incident, one Ranjho and Ms Sohini, wife of Nisar Marfani, were killed and Beero Marfani and Ms Windurah sustained injuries in a clash between Ranjho Marfani and Beero Marfano groups in Khand Marfani village in the jurisdiction of Garhi Yasin police on Sunday morning.

The motive behind the clash is said to be an old enmity between the two rival groups. No FIR was lodged till the filing of their report.
