KARACHI, Sept 8: Five ships carrying containers, crude oil and to load coke are expected

to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Calvin P. Titus, Ninos to unload and load containers, Imperial to offload and load general cargo and Taxla Rchis-1 to unload crude oil were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Wan Hai-315, Ninos, Gemini, and Tenth Ocean, while Taxla Rchis-1, Calvin P Titus, Red Sea Spirit, Soon Fu and Bolan are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total cargo volume of 88,598 tons comprising 20,744 tons of export tonnage including 3,730 tons of rice and 7,432 tons of cement and 67,854 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.\

The following ships are due on Sunday: Five Ocean to load coke, Johar to offload crude oil, Conti Germany, China Star, and Mol Ability, with containers.

The following ships are due on Monday: Harmony, Nordwoge, Frankfurt Express, with containers, Adriatic Arrow, to load 9,000 tons of cement, Golden Arrow-2 to load 35,000 tons of clinker and Ocean Flower for bunkering.
