KHAIRPUR: Man kills aunt

KHAIRPUR, Sept 6: A man reportedly killed his aunt late on Wednesday night in Sakhani village’s Kotdiji area when she refused to give her daughter’s hand in marriage.

Gaman was accused of shooting his aunt Subhan Khatoon, 45, to death. The accused managed to escaped after the incident.

Police handed over the body to relatives after post-mortem.

Meanwhile, a man who was injured during a clash between Kandhra and Bhangwar tribesmen on August 30 died here late on Wednesday night at the civil hospital in Khairpur.

The clash had taken place between Kandhra and Bhangwar communities near village Masoom Shah Ji Wanch taluka Kotdiji around a week back over a water dispute in which Fayaz Hussain Kandhro had suffered injuries. —Correspondent
