KARACHI, Sept 6: The Pakistan Rangers have arrested a large number of terrorists belonging to various banned outfits and hardcore criminals wanted by law-enforcement agencies since June 2006, says a press release issued here on Thursday.

The release names some of the most recent arrests made by the Rangers as Mohammad Aslam (brother-in-law of Arshad Pappu, the ringleader of a notorious gang), Mohammad Younis (an outlaw wanted in many cases of dacoity and kidnapping for ransom) and Mohammad Tariq Irani, Hassan alias Hassu (wanted in cases of heinous crime), Younus alias Madi (having a head money of Rs300,000), Tauqeer alias Major Khalid, Faheem alias Rizwan and Rizwan Ahmed.
