KARACHI, Oct 21: Secretary General of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Mairaj Muhammad Khan, has opposed the government policy of providing bases for military operations to the US and British forces at Pasni and Jacobabad.

He says that Gen Musharraf has gone back on his commitment to the people that he would not allow the Pakistan army and territory to be used for attacks on Afghanistan.

Demanding the government to withdraw the air-base facilities given to the US and align itself wit the sentiments of the people of Pakistan, Mr Khan had pointed out that allowing the US and British forces to use the territory is tantamount to a declaration of war against Afghanistan.
